Yes! I do occasionally make traditional quilts. 
This one won Best of Show, and Best Traditional Bed Quilt, at NANZQ Quilts Aotearoa 2007,
and here I am with the quilt, and the new Husqvarna Sapphire machine, which was the prize that year.
